The Carib's Pirate Treasure

"In 1567 six vessels of a Spanish fleet were wrecked on the Northwest tip of the Island of Dominica. It is said that they carried over 3 million in pesos, and that the survivors were captured and eaten by the Carib Indians. During a salvage attempt a year later it was learned that the indians had themselves salvaged the treasure and hid it in caves. They would not break and say where, even under threat of death. There are no records of the treasure ever being found. "

Treasure Hunt

We've recreated the fabled Pirate Treasure. Not so many gold dubloons, but verily a treasure worth finding!

Follow the clues from one treasure trove to another. Each treasure box will contain small prizes, but the last find will entitle you to a King's Ransom in local delights!

A GPS unit, though not essential, will enable you to better find the treasures!

Clue # 1

"From this vantage point ..." - register for full clue!

Word Clue: 'In'

First co-ordinates for final cache: 15N, 61W

Use the clue to find the first cache, which will lead you to the next cache. There are three caches in total. Keep the Word Clues - together, they will help you find the final cache, as will all the GPS co-ordinates!

Treasure Hunt Rules

Register for the Treasure hunt below.
Your first cache location clue will be e-mailed to you.
Follow the clues from one cache to another.
There are a total of three caches, each containing a small treasue, the final one contains the grand prize.
No cheating (or we'll have yer guts for garters).
We require a photo of you with each of the caches in order to validate your prize!

All Treasure Hunt Participants must register to play, or at least to win! Gotta play by The Code matey. To register and get your Dominica map, sign-up below.

When you register, we will send you the exact GPS co-ordinates for the first clue.
